Join us 2moro at RCC est 4 Co Pastor's Ordination!

We had an awesome time tonight at RCC Kensington's Recovery Gospel Open Mic Nite at SKA! Worship was rich and the Word was powerful and a soul was added to the Kingdom! We need to give God some praise for what He's doing in that place! Thank you also to my friend and brother pastor, Gregory S Morgan Sr from GOD'S HOUSE / B.A.M.N. for giving us a surprise visit and blessing us in worship.

We are really looking forward to tomorrow (well later today now lol) for the Ordination and Installation of CoPastor Paula Burnett-Kimmenez at Recovery Christian Center West, 4110 Haverford Ave in West Philly! Our Special Guests will be our Word Bearer none other than my pastor, Overseer Jay T Harrison and True Vine MFGB Church along with my sister the praise dancer extraordinaire Sunsiray Pitzhad and our own Gospel Hip Hop Artists Redemption Redeemed rockin' the mic! No this isn't ur grandma's ordination! Dinner starts at 3:30 and will be out of this world and worship will kick off promptly at 5pm! Be there!

Preparing for Philadelphia Stand Down

One of the main principles taught in both Christianity and recovery is that gratitude is an action word. We best express gratitude in who and how we serve. As I sit here making last minute preparations to leave for the fist day of set up at Philadelphia Stand Down, the homeless veterans organization I am proud to serve as chaplain of, I must admit that I am not just grateful to serve those disadvantaged and in many ways forgotten veterans, but I am grateful for the folks I serve with on the PSD staff and volunteers. Folks like Eddie SpellerGerard CorrentoCarmine MaggioWahoo UscherPauline ChafinRobert JohnsonPaula Burnett-Kimmenez, Edward CunninghamSteve Kelly, and many others. They work tirelessly to make lives better for those that have served us all. This week is for my brothers and sisters in arms that we will serve but also for the brothers and sisters in arms I am still serving with. To God be the glory! Semper Fi! Hoorah!
